Meet The Face Behind Patodia Eye Institute

I’m Murari Patodia, the proud owner of Patodia Eye Institute.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

Since childhood, it has been my dream to be a doctor as I wanted to work with my hands and perform fine work that would significantly impact people’s health. 

So I did my training at the University of Western University and the University of Toronto Medical School. I then completed my Ophthalmology and retina training at the Ivey Eye Institute before starting my own practice.

Since launching my practice twenty-six years ago, it has been my endeavor to bring many firsts to my small-town community by providing access to advanced eye care. Therefore, I’ve steadily grown from a small 1,250 sq feet space to a 20,000 sq feet state-of-the-art clinic.

My new office and fully-equipped operating room offer some of the most hi-tech procedures available in the market. It enables me to consistently render quality services to my patients in a timely manner. 

I can make myself readily available to serve, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from my competitors is my problem-solving skills. I also attribute my success to my passion for positively impacting my patients’ lives. I’m one of only a hundred and twenty retina specialists in Canada, which makes me proud.

When I’m not conducting laser eye surgeries, I love biking, gardening, and traveling. I also support causes that fight against climate change and pollution.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things that matter to me and how they influence how I do business.
